I have been so super busy ya'll. Between Halloween, a new job and a couple quick trips to the desert - I have been lagging on my posts. Here's some fun stuff to do this weekend. Next week I will be back in Action !

Kiwango

A compelling collaborative effort, Thomas Brodahl and Peter Reid's Kiwango sensitizes viewers to the harsh realities of Sub-Saharan Africa using a mix of statistics, photography, and illustration. In a further act of outreach, Thomas sells t-shirts tonight to raise money for an African orphanage.

Note: This exhibition remains on display through Sun 11.13.

Mudhoney w/ Howlin Rain




Of all the flannel-clad, greasy-haired rockers in the early '90s, Mudhoney were by far the grungiest. Mark Arm and pals were the epitome of substantive slacking, a group of stoned heshers whose drunken garage-punk records were as goofy and rude as they were heavy and fuzzed-out.
